Carissa Rose

Carissa RoseBorn in Miami and raised in Dallas, Carissa learned how to sketch and design clothing, from her mom, Helene Rose, when she was eleven years old. Carissa and her mom continued to produce garments together for the next fifteen years, focusing on darts, seams and panels to accommodate a prominent bustline while accenting the smaller waist.

  • While pregnant with her fourth child, Carissa’s world was shaken when her mom died suddenly. Shortly after that, Carissa decided to honor her mom, Helene Rose, and create a clothing line that focused on the woman who has a hard time managing her breast assets, as her mom did. The company began in 2007 under the brand name Bratique Helene with a network of lingerie retailers carrying the line. Production is headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Inspired by non-conforming designers such as Claire McCardell, Madeline Vionnet and Madame Gres, the Carissa Rose Line is structured and streamlined, celebrating the female form. Carissa’s philosophy is to create wearable, positive styles that incorporate the best aspects of classic American sportswear.

Carissa Rose empowers the hard-to-fit, endowed woman with comfort and confidence to live each day to the fullest (pun intended).
